Infrared receiver module IRM38B has three pins: VCC pin, OUT pin, GND pin. Output level is compatible with TTL-level. The characteristic of the 38B series as follows:
（1）different option of receiving frequency: 20KHZ、36KHZ、38KHZ、56KHZ
（2）wide range of working voltage from 3V to 6V
（3）working current:3mA
（4）controlling distance:10-30 meters
（5）inside metal shielding protection device
（6）amplitude limiting circuit function
（7）different main transmission code
（8）intelligent automatic gain controller, which can exert high receiving sensitivity in different environment.
The receiving light side of IRM38B series is made of black epoxy focusing filter lens, the lens can eliminate interference of visible light, it is very important for improving reliability and eliminating light noise. The module has PIN receiving diode, pre-amplifier and demodulator inside. When the infrared signal emitted from the emitter diode is transmitted to the infrared receiving module, the infrared signals will be transformed into electrical signals by the PIN diode inside the module and the electrical signals will be continually amplified and demodulated, then output signals compatible with TTL level, which can be sent to the chip of microcontroller to handle with.
